For more than forty years, the Republican Party has led the Town of Gates. As a result of that exceptional Republican leadership, residents of the Town of Gates have been provided with a tremendous array of first rate services that are second to none and have enjoyed an wonderful quality of life.
The Republican Town Board has worked to keep taxes down while providing outstanding services for our residents. The average taxpayer in the Town of Gates pays less in town taxes than the average taxpayer in any other town with its own police department. The efforts of the Republican Town Board were recognized when Money Magazine selected the Town of Gates as one of it’s “Most Affordable Places to Live in America.”
Our ongoing commitment to Gates residents includes an open door policy whereby any Gates citizen can bring his or her concerns to the Supervisor and Town Board. This Republican philosophy of low taxes, excellent service and open government has served the citizens of Gates well and will continue do so into the future.
